meet malcolm
Malcolm Sutherland-Foggio is a childhood cancer warrior who was diagnosed with cancer at age 10, and founded the national entity of Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer Foundation, Inc. in 2009 at age 11. Discovering that 1 in every 320 children is diagnosed with cancer, that less than 3% of all cancer research dollars are directed towards research for childhood cancer, and seeing little awareness, Malcolm decided that he needed to Make Some Noise about it! Since incorporation in the fall of 2009, Make Some Noise has raised over $1M, and been able to dedicate over 98% of all donations directly to cause-related activity.
read the facts
Pediatric cancer is the number one disease killer of our children. Research funding for childhood cancers is woefully inadequate. Less than 3% of cancer research funding goes to children’s cancers, and those funds are shrinking. A child has a 1 in 320 chance of being diagnosed with cancer before age 21.
