The Angel Quilt on display at the Washington State Trade and Convention Center in 2012
The National Angel Quilt by Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer Foundation is featured in the June/July issue of The Quilter Magazine.
The memorial quilt, displaying images and honoring children who courageously battled pediatric cancer, but tragically earned their Angel’s wings, was created and is managed by Julie Sutherland, the national chairperson of Make Some Noise: Cure Kids Cancer. The quilt has toured the United States since September of 2011 as both a tribute to these beautiful children, and as a builder of awareness and support for our mission to support critical childhood cancer research.
Foundation founder Malcolm Sutherland-Foggio appeared along with the National Angel Quilt on the Seattle King5 TV program New Day with Margaret Larson on April 17, 2012. The quilt was displayed at the Washington State Convention Center and at multiple locations in Kitsap County at that time.
